Meet Burcu & Alper

Partners in life and in design, Burcu and Alper bring heart, heritage, and harmony to everything they do.

Burcu grew up along the Mediterranean coast, where the natural beauty, rich history, and effortless way of living shaped her love for texture-rich, warm, and timeless interiors. As an interior designer, she spent years helping clients create soulful homes—but she noticed many struggled with the final touch: styling with meaning and ease. That’s where the idea for Shop by DnC was born.

Alper, a seasoned operations manager with years of corporate experience, joined Burcu on this journey—turning her dream into their shared vision. While Burcu leads the creative direction, Alper ensures everything behind the scenes flows smoothly. His calm, detail-driven approach (also rooted in their Mediterranean upbringing) brings balance to their work.

Together, they created Shop by DnC to offer carefully curated, designer-loved pieces that help you create a home that feels beautifully effortless.

Our First Candle, Poured with Heart & Inspired by Summer

Our Summer is a Mindset candle is a reflection of the warmth and tranquility that defines our brand. Born from a collaboration with Haley at the High Point Market, this candle is our very first product, and it holds a special place in our hearts. Inspired by Mediterranean summers, it captures the essence of the sea breeze with a delicate blend of honeydew, orange peel, and jasmine, grounded by the richness of sandalwood and light musk. Crafted in small batches with sustainable practices, this candle is more than just a scent—it’s an invitation to experience the calm, peaceful energy we strive to bring into every space. Every time you light it, you’re reminded that true beauty lies in the simplicity of nature.
